In the Hummelsbüttel housing estate the Hamburg architectural office of Hohaus, Hinz & Seifert created a residential building with a uniquely classic modern style: cubic forms, flat roof, large-area glazing with room-high sliding elements, perfect proportions. Rooms with high ceilings, flooded with natural light, consistently open ground-plan solutions and a building technology that reflects almost everything in lighting and electrical installation technology that is state-of-the-art. In the building itself it is merely the elegant Busch-ComfortTouch® and the discreet stainless steel modules of the Busch-priOn® room control that are an indication of the quality of the building systems technology installed. And yet, the technical inner workings of the entire building represent technology that is state-of-the-art. Almost all functions - from light control to heating and air-conditioning and up to the discreetly integrated sun protection - are perfectly linked via a KNX bus system from Busch-Jaeger.
